​Some Ways to Reduce Your Stress Response  that Impact Your Levels of Chronic Pain?

      Sonia Lupien, Ph.D, a researcher in neuroscience at the University of Montreal, suggests some ways to reduce your stress response that include the following:

  1.  Make the distinction between real or imagined threats. 

  2.  Increase your diaphragmatic or slow, deep breathing. 

  3. Move around like walking or dancing

  4. Listen to enjoyable music 

  5. Laugh a lot
