There are Many Ways to Reduce Your Chronic Pain

One size doesn’t fit all. Be careful in believing that one suggestion is best for everyone. Ths is the beauty of realizing that, with all the differing diagnostic categories, as exemplified in the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic Statistical Manual, Version 5, not one patient I have ever seen in my practice over 45 years has had the exact same history. That ranges from ones genetic predisposition, gestation and delivery,  childhoood parenting, adolescence, creative gifts,  education, socialization, career,  perspectives on marriage, life stressors, aging and ways to find meaning in life.

This is why how one deals with chronic pain is purely subjective, multi-dimensional and must integrate a bio-psycho-social perspective.
